I am so lucky to get to spend Valentines Day with the two people I love the most!

Five Question Friday!! *Late*

* Of course this saved instead of published yesterday... there is my savvy technology side for ya.

It seems like the teething process is never ending for my Little Miss. The tooth has not popped through yet but there is a white bud showing. I just wish it would come through already!! I found her a little relief through an amber necklace that I will tell you more about later this week as well as offer one for one of my readers!!

1. What have you done recently that you are proud of?

  I have been making a bigger effort on trying to stay on top of daily chores. So many times I neglect them, especially after dinner dishes and it just makes a big mess for morning. I have been doing a better job trying to clean messes as they are made. There are still days I fall behind then I wanna kick myself. Like today I think I did 8 loads of laundry because I just let it pile last week. ( shame shame)

I also have been really making an effort to play on the floor more with y little one. Time is so precious and she is growing soo fast, I don't want to lose any moments.

5. Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?

 

I don't consider myself "old" so I don't stress birthdays. They are usually just another day to me. My husband usually takes me to dinner and spoils me :) but we do not go all out for birthdays.

 

 

2. What is your favorite way to work out? Or if you don't workout, what are you wanting to try?

I have been very bad in the workout department. I did not follow through with my plan to workout after Little Miss was born  :(

However this winter is freakisly warm and now that Little Miss is bigger we are starting daily walks, and even took a bike ride :)

3. If you knew you best friend was cheating on spouse would you tell?

No. Honestly I have never been close to my best friends spouse. When they started dating it drove a lot of tension into our friendship because she knew I did not like him. I was the maid of honor in her wedding but can honestly say in the 7 years they have been together I have maybe said 2 words to him. 

Even if I was closer to him I doubt I would tell. It would not be my place. If she confinded in me it would be wrong to turn around and stab her in the back. It sounds terrible but I just wouldn't. However I would encourage her to tell him.

4. If you could afford a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?

I always tell my husband I need a maid, but honestly I would never get one. I would not like someone going through my stuff. I just feel like its an invasion. I hate cleaning, but I would rather do it myself. I wouldnt even let my grandmother do it after I had my baby. I'm just weird like that.

As for a nanny, that's an even bigger NO. I would never feel comfotable letting someone take responsibility for my children everyday in my home. I would be very unwilling to let a nanny disipline. I'm way too over protective.. it's a little bad.

IM BACK!

I have been out of the loop for a week or so. My Internet has been giving us fits and my baby girl is teething and it has just been CRAZY in this part of the world. Things has kind of gotten back to normal so I am back :)

In the time I have been gone my little monkey has been keeping me quit busy. She now is at the stage where she is getting bored very easily so we constantly have to change scenery. I love playing with her because now she is so much more interactive. It is just crazy how fast time is going by and how quickly she is growing.

She is 5 months old today and already sitting up! She is just getting so big. She LOVES to eat. We usually give her big chunks of apples or broccoli at dinner time and she loves to eat with us.

Being a mom has been such a blessing. My life feels so complete with her in my life. I just am very blessed and happy :)

Earlier in the week my baby had her wellness check and her shots. I hate watching her get shots, but she only had to get two this time so it was not as bad.

She weighed in at a whopping 17 pounds 2 oz! She is also 25 3/4 inches long. She is a big girl and growing so fast I wish it would slow down. She is wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 2 shoes. She sits up for about 5 minutes at a time and LOVES to jump in her jumperoo. I love my little girl with all my heart. She is so fun and I love that I get to spend all day everyday with her.

Mattie Belle Headband Review/ Giveaway!

Everyone that knows me knows that I LOVE putting hair bows in Little Miss's hair. It is very rare for us to leave the house without one. I started buying them as soon as I found out I was having a girl. I just love matching them to outfits and making her look so girly.

Here is the GREAT headband Little Miss received.

I was very impressed. It is very different than any headband I have seen in local stores. The fabric is a jersey knit, with a white fabric flower, and a pink felt flower. Jessamyn uses some great vintage fabrics in her designs and the headbands always have added pieces to make them extra girly. (which I love)

Her prices are very reasonable for the quality of the product. Not only does she make headbands for little girls but she also has adult sizes available too! I definitely recommend these headbands to anyone with a little girl or any adult wanting to add a little bit of jazz to your wardrobe.

1) What is the last thing you bought yourself?
   I finally broke down and bought myself some new makeup. I have been going without a lot of things because I hate spending money on myself because Little Miss is just so much more fun to buy for. I could not take it anymore and had to buy some new makeup though :)

2) What is your favorite meal on a cold winter day?
    I love my grandmas Vegetable soup.... better than any I have ever  tasted!!!

3) Have you started looking at swimsuits for this year, and do you buy a new one every year?
    Last year I did not swim at all because I felt like a beached whale. I got HUGE in my last months of pregnancy and the last thing I wanted to do was try to find a suit that fit. This year Little Miss and I are doing Mommy and tot swim lesson so I have to find a good one. I have not started looking yet, it scares me.

4) If you could be any candy what would you be and why?
   Definitely sour patch kids. I have a sweet side and a sour side. :)

5) What are you most passionate about?
     Definitely my family. I want to be the best wife and mother I could possibly be. I want Little Miss to grow up in a loving home never feeling like she has an angry family, or a family who does not love her. I NEVER ever want her or my husband to question my love for them. they are my heart and soul and my passion.
